RF Clicker

Each student enrolled in an MCDB Clicker course must purchase a ResponseCard RF transmitter (available at the cashier desk in the UCEN Bookstore). Each transmitter has an internal personal device ID code that is used to identify the each student's response in the classroom.
You may use a clicker which is borrowed from another student but not during a quarter when they are using it in another biology course. Each clicker can only be registered to a single student during the quarter.

If you are enrolled in an biology major, it is probably a good idea to keep the transmitter until you graduate. A number of upper division courses are planning to use this technology and it would not be cost effective to repurchase the transmitter if you need one later during your UCSB studies.
